Figure Drawing Classes at Town Square

Artists are invited to hone their skills by drawing from a live model. Starting October 3 through November 14, Figure Drawing will be offered on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Town Square in Green Lake.

The classes, designed for those interested in working on their observational drawing skills, will be held weekly for six weeks. Classes are uninstructed, but moderated and open to artists of all skill levels. Participants provide their own drawing materials and must be at least 18 years of age.

“This is one of the best ways for artist to develop their drawing skills,” explained Kate Salas of Green Lake Renewal, who developed the program. “The session allows artists to warm up with shorter poses before settling into a detailed drawing with longer poses.”

Advanced registration is not required but spots are limited. The price is $50 for the whole session or $10 per class for drop-ins, payable at the time of class.
