Yoga with Carol Skivington
Town Square is happy to tell you “Yoga is Back with Carol Skivington!”. Thursday nights starting at 5:00pm.
Carol teaches from the hatha yoga tradition, and has studied and become certified through Wild Spirit Yoga in Tomball, Texas, with Jennifer Carmack.
Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely. (yogajournal.com)

Beginners as well as seasoned yoga students will feel comfortable in my classes. She teaches to all levels and she hopes that you leave her classes refreshed, revived, and more connected to your inner self!
Classes are located in Town Square Community Center’s Studio A (unless noted otherwise). Carol will offer a Zoom link to those who would prefer to do the class from the comfort of their home.

Carol speaks Spanish. She has a degree in sociology with a minor in anthropology. She's been a social worker. A childcare worker. A retail worker. And a full-time mom. Oh, yes. And she cooks.
After growing up in Wooster, Ohio, and Kewaskum and West Bend, Wisconsin, and spending summers in Green Lake...and then living in Green Lake, and then Mexico and then Texas as an adult...Carol is thrilled to be back in Green Lake. It was here in Green Lake that she would swim, water ski and horseback ride as a kid. And it was here in Green that she purchased her family's cottage when her daughter was two and remodeled it into a year-round home. Now, it's here in Green Lake that Carol will launch the next phase of her career....as a real estate agent and, at Town Square, as a YOGA INSTRUCTOR!

Our first monthly Tuesday cooking class is something new…Charcuterie! Join us for an evening learning the tricks to style a simple and beautiful charcuterie board.
This is a beginner’s charcuterie workshop and includes everything you need to create a simple but beautiful board! You will learn things like salami roses and rivers, cheese placement, fillers, fanning, and a whole lot more. Classes are $45 and wine will be available to purchase.
Hi! I am Nicole a stay-at-home mom of 5 who needed a creative outlet for herself! I began doing charcuterie in the spring of 2021 and loved it since it combined two of my favorite things-food and “decorating”. I love beautiful delicious food that brings people together. Both my grandmothers were marvelous cooks and bakers and my love for spending time in the kitchen began with both of them.
Pop-In Board & Box, a Wisconsin-based food stylist specializing in charcuterie boards, boxes, table spreads and workshops!

Gallery Reception w/ Tamra BohippianFinch
In June, the Town Square Community Center lobby will feature work from Princeton resident Tamra Harrington. She will be displaying pieces of her photography. You can meet Tamra personally at the artist reception scheduled for Friday, June 3, 5 to 6 p.m.
Tamra Harrington of BohippianFinch Photography currently lives in Princeton, Wisconsin near her four sons and grandchildren where she runs her photography studio and business. She began her love of photography at a young age when she found an old, cheap 110 film camera and a book featuring the photography of Ansel Adams at a yard sale. At 16, she was fortunate enough to be hired by a large photography company in Ottawa, Illinois where she was able to learn all of the different aspects of photography from the camera, to the film, to the processing, printing, and finishing.
Tamra has worked in and out of the photography industry for over 20 years for several different studios and photographers and offered photography as a service when she opened her own graphic/web design studio in 2000. In 2013 she retired from design and pursued other interests, but always kept taking pictures and created the name BohippianFinch as her brand. In 2020 Tamra decided to make photography her full-time passion. She offers photography for portraits and small events and is a contributor for Getty Images/iStock Photo. Her photography is offered for sale as art prints, many that are modeled after the style of her favorite photographer Ansel Adams, and is available on Etsy, Zazzle, and Amazon Handmade.
Tamra said: “My photography is a reflection of how I see people and the world. I’ve always admired the famous photographer Ansel Adams and have been inspired by the work he did in life. Black and White photography, I believe, captures the soul of the subject, whether it be a person, a tree, a mountain, an animal, or the ocean.
I enjoy the style and contrast of old-school black and white film photography, even in the digital age we’ve come to. I personally like the graininess (which is now called noise) and textures that come through black and white and that is why I mostly do my photography in this style. I use my Canon Rebel T series cameras for my photography because they are lightweight, easy to travel with, versatile, and fit my little hands quite well.
I’m very fortunate to be able to do what I love to do and share that with all of you. “

Carol’s classes incorporate breath work (pranayma), poses (asanas) and meditation with a goal of uniting strength and flexibility.
