Town Square to Host Stained Glass Workshop

Back by popular demand, artist Donna Marquart will be teaching a series of stained glass art classes on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning August 6, 2019 through August 27, 2019 at Town Square Community Center in Green Lake. Participants of all skill levels can sign up for the four-week session for $100 per person, which includes most materials. 

"Donna will guide you through the creation of a stained glass piece from start to finish,” said Town Square’s Jorge Gutierrez. “This is a convenient way for anyone to explore and learn stained glass.”

Students will learn to marry old pieces of glass and found objects with new ones. Participants are encouraged to bring their own found objects and incorporate them into their glass work. The instructor offers flexibility in class dates and times. Advance registration is encouraged as space is limited to six people per session. For details, visit www.greenlakerenewal.org/events/.
