Town Square’s New Program Coordinator

There’s a new face bringing fresh energy to Town Square Community Center, and her name is Shayna Carter. This fall, Town Square officially welcomed Carter as its new Program Coordinator, a role that plays a vital part in shaping the lively mix of programs and events that define Green Lake’s beloved community hub.

With a strong background in business operations, client relations, and project coordination, Carter is no stranger to keeping big ideas organized and community connections thriving. Her work will touch nearly every corner of Town Square—coordinating gallery exhibits, the Summer Market, seasonal celebrations, and special events that fill the calendar and bring people together all year long.

“Shayna’s blend of professionalism, creativity, and community focus makes her a great fit for Town Square,” shared Kristin Anderson, Executive Director of the organization. “Her attention to detail and enthusiasm for connecting people will help our programs continue to thrive.”

Carter’s natural creativity extends beyond her work. An avid photographer and lifelong learner, she brings curiosity and a can-do spirit to everything she does.

When asked about her new role, Carter smiled and said, “I’m thrilled to be part of Town Square and to contribute to the energy that makes Green Lake such a special place. I look forward to working with our community to create events and programs that bring people together.”
