The wondered if watercolor is for you, but don't know where to start? Or you have dabbled in watercolor, but it just isn't making sense? There is a beauty an ease to watercolor when you learn the basics of techniques and materials. In this one session workshop we will do some exploration and experimentation with a variety of materials. We will explore both abstract and landscape exercises and engage in hands on projects. Participants will take home a painting they create as well as techniques to use in their future endeavors.

About the Instructors:

Carolyn Myers has her bachelor's in art education with a focus in painting. She aspires to educate and grow people's love for the arts and feel success in making their own mark while also learning practical skills and techniques that can drive them forward in their artist endeavors whether amateur or experienced. Carolyn has taught within the classroom, the community, as well as personal artist sessions. She is also an active artist in her personal studio and local art show opportunities.

Level: Beginning to Intermediate
