Comedy Show

Friday, July 25 | Doors Open at 6 pm | Show at 7:30 pm

Town Square Community Center, Green Lake, WI

Get ready for a night of side-splitting comedy at the Green Lake Laughs Comedy Show, returning after a sold-out performance in March!

Tickets:

  • $18 Online Pre-sale

  • $20 Day of Show (if available – don’t wait, we expect another sellout!)

The Lineup:

🎤 Vince Carone – Headliner Comedian

Vince is a fast-talking, frantic, and frustrated comedian who delivers a whirlwind of punchlines with a quick-witted, fast-paced style. Known for his chaotic, cathartic, and often complaining nature, Vince delves deep into the absurdities of everyday life, connecting instantly with the everyman (and every woman). His greatest gift lies in his ability to say the things on stage that most people only dare to mumble in hushed tones, bringing to light the relatable frustrations of modern life.

With over two decades of experience, Vince has been seen on Tubi, TBS, and heard on Chicago’s Mancow in the Morning and WGN Radio. His most recent special, "Bad Father," has garnered strong reviews, showcasing his unique perspective on fatherhood and family life. As the 2019 “Best of the Midwest” Competition winner at Gilda’s Laughfest and a headliner at MGM in Las Vegas, Vince’s shows are filled with genuine, heartfelt laughs.

Vince’s comedy is not just a wild ride but a journey through the rantings and ravings of a dad trying to navigate the chaos of parenting. Whether he's sharing the latest "Bad Dad Moments" or tackling the daily struggles of fatherhood, Vince brings a refreshing and relatable take on the comedic stage. He’s fast, furious, and undeniably funny – a master of turning everyday frustrations into comedic gold. No matter the price, Vince Carone is worth the admission. Join him for a night of laughter that’s as chaotic and cathartic as fatherhood itself.

🎤 Joanie Scannell –Host & Comedian

By day, she is a no-nonsense gastrointestinal (GI) nurse with an Irish temper, Italian flair, and a stethoscope that doubles as a lie detector.  By night, she trades scrubs for a mic and turns everyday disasters into stand-up gold.  She was raised on sarcasm and Tubatelli.  Joanie is the version of an espresso, bold and energetic.  Her comedy is a hilarious blend of medical mishaps, family chaos and brutally honest observations about life, dating, and that one guy that swore he was having a heart attack but just needed to pass gas.  She has performed in various cities, including Chicago, IL, Oak Park, IL, Green Lake, WI, Juniper, FL, and Fort Collins, Co.  Hosting multiple times at her favorite comedy club @thecomedyplex.  Instagram: @joanzin4laughs and @jees38  FB: Joan Ellen Scannell

Pleine-aire Painting

When: Saturday, July 19, 9 am - Noon (3 Hours)
Cost: $75
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Instructor: Pat Dobrinska

Painting outside is an important experience in developing as an artist, because it forces you to really see. Rather than copying from a two-dimensional photograph onto a two-dimensional painting surface, you must evaluate what you see in the three-dimensional landscape and figure out what and how to get “that” on your two dimensional painting surface. If you are really seeing the landscape, you will discover many truths and realities about that which you are painting. No longer will you be painting from pure theory of “how to paint a landscape”, but you will truly understand and see that which you are painting. Your painting will reveal that knowledge and freshness.

Note: A supply list will be provided upon registration.
