Calviata, a band of young Ripon community members, brings some original work and familiar tunes to the Tap. GREEN LAKE RUNNING GROUP

Saturdays 8am | May 25 - Aug 31 | Mill Pond Terrace

Join us for a consistent weekly run on Saturday mornings starting at 8am on the Mill Pond Terrace at Town Square, May 25 - August 31. All levels are welcome. The goal is to just get out there. Nothing beats group motivation!

Each week we will have a 5K route planned, and once a month we will head to somewhere different to mix things up. As the summer progresses, distance may increase. If you're planning to do one of the Green Lake 13.1 races this is a great place to start your training! 

Come run if you are training for a race, want to meet like-minded people or just want to get out and enjoy the morning. 

• Bring your own personal hydration and nutrition

• Do not participate in group runs if you are feeling sick or ill

Green Lake summer resident, Peter Brush starting playing guitar as new father in his 30’s to entertain his children at their evening baths. He played in various cover bands in Libertyville, IL over the past 20 years but is currently enjoying playing solo shows.

He plays a number of Americana/Folk acoustic cover songs and sprinkles in some of own original songs as well. Peter is a life long seasonal Green Lake resident whose family roots in Green Lake goes back over 125 years.

His dream is to play on the Thrasher Opera House Stage where his Grandmother performed as a summer resident in the early 1900’s!

2024 Town Square Open House

May 24, 2024 | 2 - 5pm

Join us for guided tours of Town Square. Tours will take place at 2:15, 3:15, and 4:15 pm. The building has recently undergone some big improvements including the basement improvements, newly renovated bathrooms that include baby changing stations & accessible doors, and resurfacing of the terrazzo floors.

There’s more fun going on that day! Join us for the season’s first Summer Market , Volunteer Fair, and the opening of Town Square Tap, including live music with Peter Brush.
